So for today's post, I wanted to focus more on the emotions of being recognized for a beautiful styled shoot we created for Weddings in Houston Magazine. While this post is a bit overdue, it is really never too late to recognize the team of incredible talents that helped in bring our vision to life! When Weddings in Houston asked us to participate, we were more than excited to say "YES!" Knowing the shoot would take place at the beautiful Chateau Polonez, we wanted to take advantage of their beautiful garden and terrace area and feel ourselves whisked away amidst some Tuscan vineyards.

What we didn't anticipate was a visit from Hurricane Harvey, which nearly botched our plans after rescheduling once; in this case two times was the charm and we were fortunate to resume the shoot. I should add, we still had some sprinkles earlier in the day...talk about stress! :) In the end, this Tuscan vineyard, al fresco inspired shoot turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined. Our local Houston NACE Chapter {National Association of Catering & Events} awarded us for "Table Design of the Year" in the over $200 category for our gorgeous styled shoot, "A Toast to Love"! We had some great talent -- only the best of the best in Houston -- up for the same category, so we feel truly honored and blessed to have won this award. Of course, to create such an incredible editorial shoot, requires a team of talented professionals...and they deserve this award as well!
